PMCMD Commands

Displays the Integration Service name, type, and version. Returns the timestamp, repository name, data movement mode, and whether the Integration Service can debug mappings.
Replaces GetServerProperties command.
PingService
Determines whether the Integration Service is running.
Replaces PingServer command.
RecoverWorkflow
Recovers a suspended workflow.

PingServer
Verifies the PowerCenter Server is running.
Replaced with pmcmd PingService command.
Quit
Disconnects pmcmd from the PowerCenter Server and closes the pmcmd program.

ResumeWorkflow
Resumes and suspends workflows.

ResumeWorklet
Resumes a suspended worklet.

ShutdownServer
Stops the PowerCenter Server.
Replaced with infacmd DisableService command.


 New pmcmd Command Options

-domain
-d
Domain name.
Replaces -serveraddr option.
-service
-sv
Integration Service name.
Replaces -serveraddr option.
-timeout
-t
Amount of time, in seconds, pmcmd attempts to connect to the Integration Service. Default is 180.
If -timeout option is omitted, pmcmd uses the timeout value specified in the environment variable INFA_CLIENT_RESILIENCE_TIMEOUT. If the environment variable is not set, pmcmd uses the default timeout value.
New option.
-recovery
Specifies that you want to run the session in recovery mode.
Deprecated. Use the RecoverWorkflow command instead.
-serveraddr
-s
Server address of the machine hosting the PowerCenter server.
Deprecated. Replaced with the -d (-domain) and -sv (‑service) options.
